Dr. Bill Brown, chief editor and main content provider of Xiamen guide.com, has been giving business administration courses in Xiamen University's MBA Center. His works include textbooks on Organizational Behavior and Business Strategy, over 60 articles for dozens of magazines and newspapers, several television documentaries, and books such as "Fujian Adventure", "AmoyMagic--Guide to Xiamen", "Mystic Quanzhou--City of Light, "Discover Gulangyu", "Magic Fujian," "Xiamen University--Strength of the Nation ", etc. In spite of his writings, in 1992 he became Fujian Province's 1st foreigner granted Permanent Residence, and in 1993 received the Friendship Award from Premier Li Peng. In 2002, Dr. Bill Brown represented Xiamen in the international Livcom competition. Xiamen won the Gold Medal. In 2003, he was voted as one of the "Top Ten People Moving Xiamen".
